May 4, 2020

May, 4th 2020 Brisbane: Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., a part of the US $ 20.7 billion Mahindra Group, today launched the refreshed MY2020 Mahindra PikUp under its fully-owned subsidiary – Mahindra Automotive Australia Pty Ltd (MAAPL).

The ever dependable, tough and value for money Mahindra PikUp has been updated for 2020 with a raft of refinements, including new signature front grille that enhances its tough signature stance, contemporary static bending projection headlamps and daylight running LEDs, with new fog light assembly.

The New Generation Pik-Up comfortably takes both city and tough off-road tracks in its stride with its benchmark 34-degree approach angle. The sturdy and heavy-duty ladder frame chassis can carry a payload of up to 1095 kgs with a 2.5 tonnes braked towing capacity.

The 103 KW, 2.2 Litre common rail intercooled turbo diesel engine produces a peak torque of 320 Nm.  With a robust design in collaboration with AVL Austria and backed by Bosch Engine Management system, the mHawk engine provides proven reliability and unrivalled fuel efficiency.  The engine valve train is driven by a twin timing chain system, so no expensive belts to replace under maintenance.  The 6-speed smooth shift manual gearbox with Dana Spicer axels and Eaton self-locking differential adds to the driving pleasure both on city roads and tough off-road tracks.
