  • Mahindra is strategically expanding its dealer network, with a particular emphasis on urban markets, in order to bolster its presence in the country

Brisbane, April 6, 2023:  Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd is set to make a significant impact in the Australian market with the launch of two game-changing SUVs starting with the All-New Scorpio this month, followed by the XUV700 later this year. As a brand that has been at the forefront of the SUV segment in India, Mahindra is excited to introduce its new identity to Australian customers with the upcoming launch of these two SUVs.

Mahindra is introducing its new brand identity with the twin peaks logo, which symbolizes the company’s commitment to exploring new horizons and pushing boundaries. It reflects the company’s focus on innovation, quality, and reliability, and sets the stage for the launch of Mahindra’s all-new SUVs.

Twin Peaks in the Blue Mountains

The new ‘Twin Peaks’ logo will act as visual identity for Mahindra SUVs in two key ways. It will be incorporated in the all-new Corporate Identity (CI) at the dealerships across Australia. Furthermore, it will be affixed to the new range of SUVs, starting with the All-New Mahindra Scorpio. The new visual identity is a significant step in the company’s global expansion strategy, with Australia being an important market.

The All-New 6-seater Mahindra Scorpio, to be launched in Brisbane on April 19, is designed, engineered, and developed to stir the SUV segment in Australia with its class-leading attributes, features, and capabilities. Scorpio is a rugged and versatile SUV that is designed to handle Australia’s tough terrain. It comes with a powerful diesel engine, four-wheel drive, and off-road capabilities.

Mahindra, the Indian automobile company, has been present in Australia for 17 years, primarily as a niche player in the Ute category. However, with the introduction of its new SUV range, the company is set to expand its market presence in a big way. To achieve this, Mahindra is planning to significantly expand its dealer base, which will enable the company to reach to newer set of urban customers in SUV segment. This strategic move reflects Mahindra’s ambition to appeal to a wider customer base and gain a foothold in the Australian market. With its focus on providing affordable yet high-quality vehicles, Mahindra’s new SUV range is expected to generate significant interest and demand, further strengthening the company’s position in the Australian automotive industry.
