Adelaide, June 15, 2023: Mahindra Australia has continued its rapid expansion plans opening a new dealership in the inner-city Adelaide suburb of Wayville.
The Mahindra Wayville showroom, on Goodwood Road, was officially opened by Mahindra & Mahindra Automotive Division CEO Veejay Ram Nakra on June 15 making it the 50th dealership in Australia.
The announcement follows Mahindra’s release of two new world class SUVs to the Australian market in recent months.
In April, Mahindra launched the Diesel 4WD Scorpio SUV. This week Mahindra unveiled its upmarket XUV 700 SUV with sci-fi digital technology, spirited performance, and luxurious interiors.
“Mahindra & Mahindra sees Australia as an integral part of our growth plans,’’ Mr Nakra says.
“These new SUVs will very much appeal to sophisticated metro customers who expect to experience a five-star driving experience.’’
Dealer principal Dylan Nunn, who has worked in the motoring industry for more than two decades, said both new Mahindra models would exceed the expectations of Adelaide’s SUV buyers.
“Our customers are at the heart of everything we do. And we think the Adelaide market will fall in love with the new Mahindra SUV range,’’ Mr Nunn said.
“Once potential buyers get behind the wheel, they will appreciate the high-tech and luxury inclusions that these cars deliver at an affordable price.’’
Mahindra Australia National Sales Manager Russell Thiele welcomed Mr Nunn and his Australian Motors Wayville dealership to the expanding Mahindra family.
“We are excited to welcome Australian Motors on board,’’ Mr Thiele said.
“Australian Motors opened its first franchise in 1952. To survive in this industry, for that long, you must be doing a lot of things right.
“Australian Motors – like Mahindra – values honesty, integrity and quality – and that’s why this will be a great long-term partnership.’’
